DAMus

El Departamento de Artes Musicales 'Carlos López Buchardo' (DAMUS) es la institución heredera del ex Conservatorio Nacional Superior de Música de Buenos Aires, Argentina. El DAMUS es parte integrante la Universidad de las Artes (UNA).

CIDCoM

Las actividades de investigación del DAMUS relacionadas con la Música por Computadora se centralizan en el Centro de Investigaciones y Desarrollos Computacionales en Música 'Francisco Kröpfl' (CIDCOM), institución creada en 2009 y que pertenece al DAMUS.

Chris Chafe

Christopher David Chafe, born 1952 in Bern, Switzerland, is a musician, scientist, and the director of the Stanford University Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA). He is Duca Family Professor at Stanford University, holding a Doctor of Musical Arts in music composition from Stanford University (1983), a Master of Arts in music composition from University of California, San Diego, and a Bachelor of Arts in music from Antioch College. He won a Net Challenge Prize from the IEEE and Association for Computing Machinery in 2000, and a National Science Foundation research award in 1999. He has been performing with the Tintinnabulate ensemble at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Francisco Kröpfl

Uno de los más importantes profesores de composición de su país, de 1988 a 1997 fue Profesor Titular de la Cátedra de Morfología Musical de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Francisco Kröpfl es además Presidente de la Federación Argentina de Música Electroacústica (FARME), miembro del Directorio de la Confederación Internacional de Música Electroacústica (CIME), y Director Musical de la Agrupación Nueva Música. Integra además la Academia Internacional del Institut International de Musique Electroacoustique de Bourges, Francia.

Fernando López Lezcano

Fernando López-Lezcano is a composer, performer, lecturer and computer systems administrator at CCRMA, Stanford University. He has been taking care of computing resources there since 1993, including the Planet CCRMA collection of open source sound and music packages for Linux which he created and maintains since 2001. He has been involved in the field of electronic music since 1976 and his music has been released on CD and played in the Americas, Europe and East Asia. He was the "Edgar Varese Guest Professor" at TU Berlin during Summer 2008.
